MAJOR SERVICE ISSUE DUE TO THE IRISH FERRIES ULYSSES VESSEL BEING IN DRY DOCK

18th July 2018

Due to the Irish Ferries Ulysses vessel being in dry dock we are on constant stand by with Stena which means it is hit and miss if our double deck trailer is shipped on the 8.55am sailing. Yesterday’s trailer was not shipped which meant it only arrived into our warehouse at 7pm last night. The same is for today. Our double deck trailer was not shipped due to overbooking on Stena.
Today’s trailer will only arrive @ 7pm which means all shipments will be affected.

We have a 2nd nightly trailer that departs Fortec which is also on standby with Stena 8.55 sailing. The trailer due in yesterday only arrived at 7pm last night as it was not shipped on the Stena 8.55. We have todays trailer booked to ship out of Liverpool and it is on the 5.30am sailing with Sea truck. This means it arrives into our warehouse at 3pm today. Some shipments will be affected.

The above is advising that due to these circumstances beyond our control transit times cannot be guaranteed. Some country shipments might be delayed by 2 days as they could miss their connecting shunt to the delivery agent that covers certain areas on our behalf.

We have no update as to when the Ulysses will be back servicing the Irish Seas.
