This seed strain is a Dan Hinkley introduction from his collection (HWJ99732) at 5,000' elevation on Vietnam's Fansipan Mountain in Lo Cai Province. From a basal rosette, the 4. 5' tall stalks shoot upward, ending with a show of terminal clusters of blue lavender flowers that start for us in mid October.
