A thick hardwood wear layer is glued to a quarter sawn softwood core, with a red pine cross ply backing ensuring optimal rigidity. Herringbone pattern floors are characterized by a very symmetrical installation: boards of uniform dimensions are positioned at right angles and tongue and groove machined to form 90 joints. Herringbone products add a design touch and
