Constructed of magnetic metal with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central white enameled disc bearing a raised and silvered National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) insignia, surrounded by gilded and enameled regional coats of arms, in turn set within a circular green enameled ring bearing an inscription of GELNDEWETTBEWERB IM ERZBIRGE 3. 5.
