Constructed of dark grey painted magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated with a circular ribbed ring bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD WITH US) with oak branches, the reverse with a loop and claws emanating from a functional roller, maker marked with the logo of Dransfeld & Co., Menden, with an illegible manufacture
