The dark green, thick substanced leaf is surrounded by a very wide golden border, which changes to cream as the season progresses. Visitors at Jim's former garden in 1999 called it an improved H. 'Sagae'! In late summer, the fast growing clumps are topped with light lavender flowers. This is a MUST HAVE hosta!
