Domaine de Piaugier 'Tenebi' Le Counoise Sablet Rouge, 2019 Beaujolais black plum and French herbsThis wine is spectacular. Made mostly from the obscure Counoise grape. Pair it with a roast chicken. Domaine de Piaugier is situated in and around the village of Sablet, which stands proudly at the feet of the jagged Dentelles de Montmirail in the Vaucluse department of the Southern Rhne. The winery decided to vinify the Counoise after tasting some at Chteau Beaucastel. This is an under the radar treasure.
