The caption writes, "The Calco Division of American Cyanamid is probably the third largest U. S. dyestuff maker" The American Cyanamid Company was a large chemical manufacturer and was founded in 1907 by Frank Washburn. Divisions of the company include Lederle Laboratories, Davis & Geck, Old Spice, Breck, Pine Sol and Melmac.
