The 2-Man delivery service was developed to deliver larger and heavier consumer packaged goods into the customer’s room of choice; whether that was in their home, including their garden and garage, or office.

Several retail customers soon realised that this service was ideal for those products where they wanted to enhance the delivery experience and provide a convenient delivery for their customer, for example, where their customer may find it difficult to move the item after it’s been left at the door step.

What does convenience for your customer look like to you? It all starts at the checkout on your website if they’re buying online, or at the point of payment if they’re in-store. They can select the most convenient date for delivery, and that may not be the soonest available – it’s entirely up to them to say what’s best.

Then once the date is chosen, the evening before that date we will send your customer a text or email to confirm we will be delivering their item the next day along with a 2 hour delivery time slot so they know when to expect us. On the delivery day, our delivery crew will call your customer when they’re on their way to the delivery address. Keeping your customer informed all the way through the delivery.

How we can help

What can you do to make a delivery convenient for a customer? If they’re buying from you online, at the point of checkout let them choose the delivery date so they’re not left guessing when it will arrive. We can provide you with up to 8 weeks of delivery dates for them to choose from so they can pick the date that best suits them.

Alternatively, once their order is available for delivery and you’ve released the delivery details to us, we will contact your customer and arrange a convenient delivery date through a phone call from our dedicated Customer Service centre.

We provide this delivery service for some well-known High Street retailers in the rural and under populated areas of the UK. Through our network of local Service Centres we are never too far from your customer and can respond quickly to their demands.

We can also collect from your customer if ever they need to return an item to you, saving you the inconvenience of yet another carrier and we have a selection of packaging on board our vehicles to reinforce the wrapped goods being returned.
